Zbigniew Wiliński
Director, Fintech Financial Innovation Department, Financial Supervision Authority
On October 2019, he has taken up the position of director of the FinTech financial innovation department at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF), where he oversees many projects, including tools supporting the development of financial innovations - PSD2 virtual sandboxes and blockchain. The department he manages is the author of suptech tools such as EURO-BOZON, he coordinates hackathon events that acquire high-tech-based solutions supporting modern financial supervision. Since 2023, he has been the coordinator of the implementation of the EU regulation on crypto-assets Market in Crypto Assets - MiCA at the UKNF.
In the years 2017-2019 he was the deputy director of the analysis department and tax collection department at the Ministry of Finance, where he managed JPK_VAT projects (the JPK_VAT project was awarded a distinction in 2018 by PMI Poland Chapter), which aimed at acquiring innovative IT tools to improve the effectiveness of the National Revenue Administration. Lecturer at the National School of Treasury and the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution on the topics of modern analytical solutions, online information acquisition, e-commerce and tax fraud.
