Between 1990 and 2004, president of BRE Bank (mBank), member of the regional board of Commerzbank AG, president of the Polish Development Bank. Advisor to Finance Minister Leszek Balcerowicz 1989-1991. In 1984-1991, successively assistant and researcher at the University of Kiel (Germany). A graduate in economics at Kiel University, he also studied law at Warsaw University.
