Tadeusz Uhl
Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Space Technologies at the AGH University of Krakow
Professor Uhl is a graduate of the AGH University of Krakow (1980), and since 1996, he has been working at the university as a professor. He worked in foreign research centres for eight years. His research interests include mechatronics, robotics, and space technologies. He is an author of more than 1,000 publications. He supervised 56 defended doctoral theses and over one hundred master’s theses.
He coordinated numerous European projects, with his current focus being UNIVERSEH – European Space University for Earth and Humanity (Polish team). He is a holder of 65 national and international patents. Professor Uhl was also a member of the High-Level Group on Key Enabling Technologies at the European Commission in 2014–2017. In 2020, Stanford University included him on the prestigious World's Top 2% Scientists ranking list. He successfully implements the latest technologies on the market. He has founded 29 businesses, several of which are large companies.
Currently, as the Dean of the Faculty of Space Technologies, he leads a research team that carries out research on orbital and planetary missions, including missions to the International Space Station.
