Ryszard Biernacki

An experienced manager associated with KGHM Polska Miedź since 1982. He specialises in core business projects, managing the production infrastructure and efficiency in implementing innovative technological and organisational solutions.
He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the title of Master Technician NOT of the Copper Basin, the 1st Prize of the Prime Minister for Scientific and Technical Achievements, and the title of Master Technician FSNT-NOT. Together with his team, in 2017 he implemented an ISO50001-compliant Energy Management System in KGHM. These projects had a significant impact on improving the energy efficiency of the company's operations.
A graduate of the Higher School of Engineering in Zielona Góra, the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, postgraduate studies in the sector, and completed Executive MBA studies at the Polish-American Business School - Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
