Rolands Irklis
Chairman of the Supervisory Board, AS Augstsprieguma tīkls, Latvia
Rolands Irklis – CEO of Latvian Electricity Transmission System Operator "Augstsprieguma tīkls" (AST) since December, 2023.
His previous professional experience includes positions of Auditor General at the State Audit Office of Republic of Latvia (2021.-2023.), Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Latvia (2016.-2021.), additionally acting in the Agency for the Cooperation of European Energy Regulators (ACER) as Vice-Chair of the Board of Regulators, Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) as Vice President, as well as Memeber of the Audit Commitee in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Mr. Irklis holds the Master degree of Law of University of Latvia and Executive MBA degree at the Riga Business School of Riga Technical University.
