Robert Pękal
director plenipotentiary for the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre (PSNC), Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences
Director od Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center affiliated to the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS. A graduate of the Electronics and Telecommunications faculty at Poznan University of Technology, an alum of the Helsinki School of Economics and the WSB University, also member of the management board of the Wielkopolska ICT Cluster.
He is strongly involved in building and developing ICT infrastructure with a focus on implementing innovative services within that infrastructure. His experience, which also includes business development, ensures that the organisation not only achieves its goals but also exceeds them. He is a supporter of optimising operations and leading teams efficiently, which he successfully applies to national and international projects. He believes in the power of collaboration and is always open to new connections, insights and opportunities.
He has co-authored scientific publications in publications such as IEEE, Springer, Oxford University Press, EDP Sciences, Nature Publishing Group.
