Prof. Paweł Bogdański, MD, PhD - physician – specialist in internal medicine and hypertension, National Fellow of the Specialist Certification of Obesity Professional Education; Head of the Department of Obesity Treatment, Metabolic Disorders and Clinical Dietetics, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences.
Past-President of the Polish Society for Obesity Treatment, member of the Presidium of the Partnership for Obesity Prevention and Treatment, member of the Scientific Council of the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation, member of the Team for Preventing Obesity appointed by the Public Health Council at the Ministry of Health. Editor-in-Chief of the Metabolic Disorders Forum.
Author of over 300 scientific publications in the field of obesity and its complications. Editor of the book "Obesity and its complications" distinguished as the best university textbook in 2021. Winner of, among others, the Health Visionaries award in the Visionary Educational and Prevention Program category and the prestigious Golden Otis trust award for combating stereotypes about the treatment of obesity.
