Olga Goitowska

Director, Department of Municipal Economy, Gdańsk City Hall, Chair of the Waste Management Team, Union of Polish Metropolises

Olga Goitowska, M.Sc. - a graduate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, specialising in environmental engineering; Gdansk University of Technology, specialising in waste management and clean technologies; and Bialystok University of Technology, specialising in management for engineers. Since 2007 she has been working in the municipal sector, and since 2011 she has been involved in the implementation and organisation of municipal waste management systems in local authorities. Currently, she is the Director of the Department of Municipal Management in the City of Gdañsk, the Coordinator of the Green City Development Programme in Gdañsk, and the representative of the Union of Polish Metropolises in the team of advisors to the Minister of Climate and Environment on systemic solutions in waste management.
