Marta Kosior-Kazberuk
Rector, Białystok University of Technology
Since September 1, 2020, he has been the Rector of Bialystok University of Technology. In the university’s 76-year history, she is the first woman to hold this position. A graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences at Bialystok University of Technology.
President of the Polish Academic and Economic Forum since 2022.
Author of an effective internationalisation strategy for Bialystok University of Technology, whose implementation has contributed to a significant development of wide-ranging forms of international cooperation and increased recognition of the university.
Her scientific interests concern, among others, the effectiveness of material and structural protection of building materials, the impact of active mineral additives on the properties of concrete, the use of composite reinforcement in concrete structures and diverse aspects of structure durability.
Since 2009, she has been an expert of the National Centre for Research and Development; since 2016, an expert of the Polish Accreditation Committee. Expert of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development since 2023.
In 2021, she was awarded the Builder Laurel; in 2023, she received the title of Polish Hercules 2022.
