Marian Błachut
Mayor of Czechowice-Dziedzice
Since 2006, he has been the mayor of Czechowice-Dziedzice. He holds a Doctorate in Social Sciences, specializing in Management and Quality. He is a lecturer at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Bielsko-Biała. He graduated from the Silesian Academy in Katowice with a Master of Business Administration degree. Additionally, he serves as the president of the association “Nowa Inicjatywa”.
His knowledge and qualifications are effectively applied in managing the municipal commune of Czechowice-Dziedzice. His expertise in local government operations enables him to actively participate in various associations at the regional and national levels. Since 2015, he has been a Board Member of the Association of Silesian Municipalities and Counties.
In 2019, he joined the Board of the Association of Municipalities and Districts of the Southern Subregion of the Silesian Voivodeship, known as "Aglomeracja Beskidzka”. From 2021 to 2027, he is a member of the FEnIKS Program; Monitoring Committee for the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment.
