Marcin A. Piasecki
Executive Director, IFM Investors
Marcin is responsible for the origination, execution and management of IFM Investors’ infrastructure investments across Europe. He also serves as an executive board member of IFM Investors Poland. IFM Investors is an Australian infrastructure fund with global reach and assets under management of nearly 150 billion dollars. Examples of IFM Investors’ investments include Freeport LNG (export terminal in Texas), Sydney Airport and the M6 motorway in the UK.
Marcin was previously Chief Investment Officer of Polish Development Fund (PFR), a leading infrastructure fund based in Warsaw. As PFR’s co-founding senior executive and Vice Chairman of PFR’s Investment Committee, Marcin built an investment team that was then involved in every major infrastructure project in Poland. Under his leadership PFR successfully deployed over EUR2bn across transportation, energy and power sectors. During that time, he also served Polish Prime Minister as an advisor on economic policy matters.
Prior to PFR, Marcin worked on multiple infrastructure projects across Europe, Middle East, and Africa while at Kulczyk Investments, Mubadala Investment Company and Citigroup’s Infrastructure & Energy Finance team.Marcin is a board member of Baltic Hub (previously DCT Gdansk) and Veolia Energia Polska.
