Maciej Mróz
President of the Board, Polish Society for Transmission and Distribution of Electricity
Doctor of technical science. He graduated from: AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, specialization: electrical power engineering; Master of Business Administration at the University of Economics in Krakow; doctoral studies at AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, and Electronics.
He has nearly 20 years of experience in the energy industry in the management of assets and investments in the area of distribution and the development and implementation of investment projects in the area of renewable energy sources, as well as managerial experience in the following areas: grid operator, grid investment and development, innovation and new technologies, and relations with local government entities. He has managed the in-house development of RES projects, finance and controlling, as well as procurement.
Since 2023, he has been the Vice President of the Management Board for TAURON Dystrybucja. From 2021 to 2023, he was the Vice President of the Management Board of TAURON Zielona Energia sp. z o.o.; earlier he was the Director of the Investment and Grid Development Department and the Assets Director at TAURON Dystrybucja in the Kraków and Tarnów branches.
