Katarzyna Rij – art dealer, curator, and exhibition organizer. She is the founder and owner of Van Rij Gallery – one of the key contemporary art galleries in Poland, with locations in Kraków and in the post-industrial halls of a former porcelain manufactory in Ćmielów, Poland.
She bridges the worlds of art and business, drawing on her academic background in both economics and art history. She specializes in art market analysis and investment advisory, supporting collectors in building and managing their art collections.
She is the author of the biography of Lubomir Tomaszewski – a Polish-American sculptor and painter – published by Agora. Her gallery represents artists and presents their work both in Poland and at international art fairs. She collaborates with cultural institutions as well as private collectors.
