Kamil Waligóra
Director, City Mayor's Department, City Hall of Białystok
Kamil Waligóra - since 2023. Director of the Mayor's Department at the City Hall in Białystok. An experienced local government employee, involved in administrative and legislative activities for 14 years. In his work at the territorial self-government unit, he was involved, inter alia, in the management of European funds, coordination of national and foreign cooperation of territorial self-government units and management of the self-government analysis team.
He has served as an Expert in the preparation of opinions issued by the European Committee of the Regions, as well as undertaking activities within the Committee of Experts on Climate and Space operating at the Ombudsman, where he co-wrote the assumptions of the ‘Law on Spatial Development’. He is currently PMO in the Council of Experts on Local Governments, acting within the framework of Rafał Brzoska's deregulation initiative - ‘We check - Entrepreneur's Initiative for Poland’.
Doctor of Economics and lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Finance, University of Białystok - Department of Socio-Economic Development, Department of Local Development and Spatial Economy.
