Jarosław Zagórowski
Director, Central Mining Institute – National Research Institute
A graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He graduated with a master's degree in Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Management and Marketing at the Faculty of Organization and Management. He completed doctoral studies at the Faculty of Mining of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
He was an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Cooperation and the Ministry of Economy, where he was involved in the creation of government programs for the restructuring of heavy industries, i.e. mining, metallurgy and others. President of the Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa SA, Huta Bankowa Sp. z o.o. and Wasko S.A. Advisor to the Management Board of KPMG Advisory in Warsaw and Carboautomatyka SA in Tychy. Currently, he is the Director of the Central Mining Institute – National Mining Institute in Katowice.
