Janusz Komurkiewicz
Member of the Management Board, FAKRO
A graduate of the Cracow University of Technology and Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu in Nowy Sącz. After completing his studies, he worked as an engineer at POLGRAPH in Nowy Sącz, and since 1994 he has been employed at FAKRO. He is part of the core team of the company’s founders. He began his career as Head of the Promotion and Advertising Department, and in 2008 he became the Marketing Director for Poland. He is currently a member of the Management Board of FAKRO sp. z o.o.
Since 2001, he has represented FAKRO in the Association of Manufacturers of Building Joinery. In 2005, following the transformation of the association into the Union of Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Distributors "Polish Windows and Doors" (POiD), he was elected a member of the union's program council, and later became a member of the POiD Management Board. Since 2008, he has served as the President of the Management Board of the Polish Windows and Doors Association. Thanks to the joint efforts of FAKRO and the POiD under the leadership of President Janusz Komurkiewicz, the building joinery industry has been recognized as a Polish export specialty and included in the Ministry of Economy’s Industry Promotion Program.
