Ignacy Święcicki
Manager, Digital Economy Team, Polish Economic Institute
Since 2019, Head of the Digital Economy Team at the Polish Economic Institute, author of reports, policy papers, and other studies on topics related to telecommunications, robotics, and EU digitalization strategies.
Previously worked at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, where he dealt with European regulations in the telecommunications sector, including relations between OTT providers and telecom operators, as well as international roaming. He also participated in preparing regulatory impact assessments for new legal acts and guidelines for conducting impact assessments in the governmental legislative process.
He gained analytical experience at the demosEUROPA think tank – Center for European Strategy. His research interests include the economic effects of legal regulations, the platform economy, and digital policies in the European Union
