Dariusz Blocher
member of the supervisory board, Unibep SA
Dariusz Blocher – a construction industry executive with over 20 years of experience holding key positions in leading Polish companies within this sector. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Machine Building at the Częstochowa University of Technology and from the IESE Business School in Barcelona.
From 1992 to 1994, he worked at the Ahlstrom – Fakop Industrial Boiler Factory, followed by a role at the distribution company "Proman" s.c. in Katowice. From May 1994 to February 2002, he was associated with Pepsi Co. Polska. In February 2002, he joined the Management Board of Budimex S.A., where he served as the Director of Human Resource Management. In November 2007, he was appointed President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Budimex Dromex S.A., while also serving as a Member of the Management Board of Budimex S.A.
From September 2009 to April 2021, he held the position of President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Budimex S.A. Between April 2019 and April 2021, he also served as Executive Director for Europe at Ferrovial Construction. From May 2021 to April 2023, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Budimex S.A. and a member of the Management Board of Ferrovial Construction International SE in Amsterdam.
In May 2023, by decision of the Supervisory Board of Unibep S.A., he was appointed President of the Management Board of the company, a position he held until December 31, 2024. Since January 1, 2025, he has been serving as a member of the Supervisory Board of Unibep S.A.
Dariusz Blocher is also a member of the Committee on Civil and Water Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), a member of the Council of the Polish Association of Construction Employers (PZPB), and a member of the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs.
