Astrid Bergmål
Position: State Secretary at the Ministry of Energy of Norway
Astrid Bergmål was formerly State Secretary for the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (2021 - 2023). She has previously worked for the Enterprise Federation of Norway (Virke), and as a Political Adviser in the Norwegian Labour Party’s parliamentary party group.
From 2011–2012, she was a Political Adviser in the Ministry of Justice and Public Security. She was a Deputy Member of Parliament in the period 2001–2005. Bergmål is a qualified lawyer from the University of Oslo and Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg (2001-2007).
