Anita Bednarek – Head of Sustainability at Goodvalley | Board Member, Polish Association of Agricultural Biogas Producers | Expert in Sustainability, ESG, and Renewable Energy
A recognized leader in sustainability and renewable energy, she has been with Goodvalley since 2009, overseeing environmental protection, ESG strategy, renewable energy development, and property management. Since 2012, she has led the calculation and verification of Goodvalley’s carbon footprint and product life cycle assessment, driving the company’s commitment to climate responsibility.
A key voice in agricultural biogas policy, she is the initiator and co-author of several legal regulations shaping the sector. For over a decade, she has served as a Board Member of the Polish Association of Agricultural Biogas Producers and actively contributes to working groups under the Ministry of Climate and Environment, advancing the Biogas and Biomethane Sector Agreement.
Beyond policy, she is deeply involved in education and industry advocacy. Through workshops with the National Agricultural Support Center, she trains agricultural schools, farmers, and investors on agricultural biogas opportunities. A frequent speaker at industry conferences and policy debates, she has also authored numerous publications on biogas, circular economy, and energy efficiency.
In 2024, her contributions to the sector were recognized with the Women Trailblazer Award from the European Biogas Association, presented during European Biomethane Week.
