Adrian Sienicki
Vice-President of the Management Board for Group Affairs, Węglokoks SA
Adrian Sienicki graduated from the power engineering, electronics, and telecommunication faculties at the Lodz University of Technology. He has been in the industrial and services sectors since 2006, mainly in fuel-energy industry and primary – metals. He is the president of Huta Czestochowa Sp. z o.o., the vice president for the corporate affairs at Weglokoks S.A. and a research and teaching fellow in the Department of Electrical Apparatus at the Lodz University of Technology. He was a head of development, member of the board, at Veolia Energia Łódź S.A. In Veolia Group he was in charge of sale of energy products, new connections to the district heating network and acquisition, setting up, operation and maintenance services, utilities delivery for industrial clients like: Gillette, Dell, ABB or Kellogg’s. He was a chairman of “Fala Energii” – an energy cluster in Lodz.
His professional activity covers: development of sales of products and solutions in steel, energy, commodities, coal and biomass trading, raw materials trading, steel trading including products and semis, logistic services trading, as well as production of steel products and semis and utilities. His field of scientific activity covers electrical apparatus, electrical contacts, control algorithms, distributed power generation systems (photovoltaics, windfarms, cogeneration, trigeneration), heat distribution, power transmission, power exchange, energy efficiency, and intelligent buildings.
