Infrastructure and construction in Poland after the investment boom of the past two decades. Relatively new structures, their projected and actual lifespan, current technical condition, and future functionality. A neglected issue: what is the awareness of maintenance costs, replacement investments, and necessary modernisation? Entities responsible for infrastructure maintenance and condition assessment. Are we prepared? Cost accumulation over a limited period, available amortisation funds, realistic capabilities, financial burdens, and support mechanisms.
