Thematic scope
Changes in the Polish media market. Key challenges – fragmentation, shifts in media consumption, declining trust. The technological revolution – who is keeping up? The growing role of social media as the primary source of news. New audio and visual formats, specialist media. Traditional media vs big tech. Other challenges in the media industry: regulations and copyright protection, content moderation, fake news, manipulation, and fact-checking. AI in media: new opportunities, new risks.
SILENT SESSION*
Sessions on stages Spodek scena 1 and Spodek scena 2 will be held in a SILENT formula. There will be no audio system in the auditorium. Voice of the speakers will be transmitted by means of an infrared transmitter feeding the signal to cordless receivers for simultaneous interpretation. For your convenience, in-ear headphones will be provided, too. Every participant and speaker will have a chance of choosing their preferred headphones. All speakers and participants must use the headphones. All available channels will be displayed at the entrance to each session.
