Thematic scope

How to prevent cities and regions from becoming depopulated. What tools do local governments have at their disposal? The consequences of demographic trends and depopulation: increasing social care costs, the need to adapt infrastructure to an ageing society, and labour shortages. In the absence of systemic solutions at the national level, could local migration policies and integration programmes be the answer?
