Robert Burton
Managing Director, XEOS, part of GE Aerospace's operational network
Rob Burton has worked in the aerospace industry for over 25 years. Rob is a seasoned executive currently serving as Managing Director at XEOS, a Joint-Venture between GE Aerospace and Lufthansa Technik. Before joining XEOS, he served as Vice President of Quality & Continuous Improvement at Safran. His earlier career includes several leadership roles at Rolls-Royce, such as Director of Quality, HS&E and Business Improvement, and Project Manager within the Controls Division. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Project Management from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
His academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping a structured, systems-driven approach to leadership in high-stakes technical environments. Rob moved to Poland with his family in 2019 to join XEOS and GE Aerospace to lead the ramp-up of the business – bringing his extensive experience in lean manufacturing, as well as a desire to create a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
