Małgorzata Rusewicz
President of the Management Board, Chamber of Fund and Asset Managers
She has been involved in the Polish capital market for more than 13 years. In 2013, she assumed the position of President of the Chamber of Polish Pension Funds, and from 2019. also President of the Chamber of Fund and Asset Management. She is a member of the Financial Market Development Council at the Ministry of Finance. She is also a member of a number of advisory bodies and Programme Boards related to the functioning of the financial market, including, among others, the European Financial Congress. Over the past few years, she has also been a member of the KDPW CCP Risk Committee and member of the Supervisory Committee on Reference Interest Rate at GPW Benchmark. Małgorzata Rusewicz represents Poland on the Board of Directors of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA).
She is a lawyer and also completed postgraduate studies in insurance at the Warsaw School of Economics. She started her professional career in 2002 at the Social Insurance Institution. In the following years, she cooperated with the Institute of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Commission as an expert on the labour market and insurance law. From 2005 to 2007, she was associated with Ghent University, where she participated in the Training and Reporting on European Social Security programme. From 2007 to 2012, she worked at Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan as Director of the Department of Social Dialogue and Labour Relations. In Conferderaion Lewiatan she also coordinated the Labour Market Council.
