Dr Jakub Majewski - analyst and specialist in mobility, logistics and transport system planning, infrastructure investment and organisation of public mass transport. Assistant Professor at the University of Warsaw in the Centre for European Regional and Local Studies.
Professionally involved in spatial planning and the railway market. Since 2001, specialist at the Mazovian Regional Planning Office. Subsequently, member of supervisory boards and management boards of railway operators – incl. PKP Przewozy Regionalne, SKM Warsaw, Koleje Mazowieckie. From 2012 to 2014 Vice President of the Railway Transport Office responsible for market regulation and passenger rights. Since 2014 President of the ‘Pro Kolej’ Foundation, and since 2024 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.
Licensed train driver and at the same time industry press and TV commentator.
