He is a manager with extensive leadership experience. For 13 years, he served as the managing director at E.ON Engineering and two companies providing energy for industry and cities. Within the RWE structures, where he has worked since 2008, he held the position of the director of strategy, development, and management of Germany's largest power plant operating in the coal, gas, and nuclear energy sectors. Jörn-Erik Mantz will now also take on the role of Country Head at E.ON edis, where he is responsible for the development of the business of companies in the Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions sector in Poland.
He worked in multinational teams, including in France, China, Thailand, India, and the United Kingdom. He obtained, among other qualifications, a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technische Universität München and a certificate from a management training issued in 2002 by Harvard Business School.
