David Delgado-Romero

Position: Partner and Director for Central and Eastern Europe
David is Partner and Director for Central and Eastern Europe at Meridiam. He joined the firm in 2005 and has since played a key role in numerous landmark transactions. He was involved in the financial closings of the Limerick Tunnel project in Ireland and the LIFT portfolio in the UK, and he led the closing of the A5 motorway project in Germany. More recently, he led the closing of the PPP Waste-to-Energy project in Olsztyn, Poland.
In addition to his work on closings, he has contributed to the preparation of bids and undertaken due diligence for infrastructure projects across France, Portugal, Belgium, Romania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Poland.
Prior to joining Meridiam, David gained 10 years of experience in the transportation and infrastructure sector.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Transportation from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He also earned a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
