Andrzej Szumowski
Vice-Chairman of the Council, Director, Office of International Cooperation, Polish Chamber of Commerce
Director of the Foreign Relations Department and Vice-Chairman of the Council at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. For the past 25 years, he has been involved in the spirits industry: he serves as President of the Polish Vodka Association and is a member of the governing bodies of the Polish Spirits Industry Employers’ Union (Związek Pracodawców Polski Przemysł Spirytusowy). He serves as Chairman of the Polish-Saudi Business Council. He is also a co-founder, member, and Vice President of the Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce and of the Polish-Latin American Business Council.
He previously worked at the Ministry of Economic Cooperation with Abroad, served as a deputy minister at the Office of the Committee for European Integration, and was an advisor to the Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Ms. Danuta Hübner, as well as an advisor on economic promotion to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, and to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on promoting Polish food products.
He lectures at renowned universities in Warsaw, including the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), the University of Warsaw (UW), Collegium Civitas, the Kozminski University, and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).
