Andrzej Nowakowski
Position: Mayor of Płock
He has been associated with the local government for almost twenty years. He is the Mayor of Płock since 2010. Chairman of the Association of Communes of the Płock Region. Previously, in the years 2002-2007, he was a city councilor and a member of the Treasury and Budget Committee, then in the years 2007-2010 - a member of the Republic of Poland Parliament, he was on two committees: Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism and for European Union Affairs.
A Polish philologist by education. He graduated from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and worked as a tutor in Władysław Jagiełło High School in Płock. He is a graduate of Executive MBA BCC management studies, conducted by the Business Center Club in cooperation with the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development, the University of Gdańsk and RSM Erasmus University.
