Ukrainian diplomat, Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland 2014-2022
Andrii Deshchytsia – Ukrainian diplomat, doctor of political science. Founder and CEO of the consulting company AAD Consult Ltd.
Andrii Deshchytsia graduated from the Ivan Franko University of Lviv (1989). He holds a master's degree in history from the University of Alberta, Canada (1995) and a doctorate in political science from the University of Lviv (1996).
Since 1996 in the diplomatic service: worked in the embassies of Ukraine in Poland and Finland, in 2006-208 he was spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the ambassador of Ukraine to Finland and Iceland in 2008-2012.
In 2013-2014, he was the OSCE Chairperson's Special Envoy for conflicts’ resolution.
In 2014, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the new government appointed as a result of the Revolution of Dignity.
In 2014–2022, he was the ambassador of Ukraine to Poland.
In the year 2022, he founded the consulting company AAD Consult Ltd. and went into business.
He was awarded the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland and the Order of the White Rose (Finland).
