Agnieszka Szweda

Agnieszka helps investors by providing market guidance at the Investment Support Department of the Polish Investment & Trade Agency (PAIH).
She has been attached to PAIH since 2016 when she was deployed to Singapore to establish and manage the first foreign trade office of the agency, thus becoming the pioneer of the agency’s global network. In Singapore, Agnieszka began active promotion of Poland's technological potential, which she continues until today at PAIH headquarters.
She has 25 years of experience in international trade and investments supporting business development between Poland and other countries on behalf of the government sector. Before her mission at PAIH, she was engaged in bilateral trade and investment projects carried out on behalf of the governments of UK, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Agnieszka’s career in the public sector started in Silesia in 1999 when she set up and managed the first of this kind investment support unit within the newly established Marshal Office of Silesia. Since then, she has been continuously involved in the pioneer global business development projects linking Poland and the Polish high technologies with the entire world.
Since 2022, Agnieszka has been particularly active in building the semiconductor ecosystem in Poland and supporting strategic semiconductor investments. Promotion of Poland as a major semiconductor hub in Central Europe for Taiwan has become her primary objective.
She supported numerous strategic partnerships between Poland and Taiwan being actively engaged in matching the business interests of the Polish and Taiwanese partners. Agnieszka initiated PAIH's presence at the world's largest semiconductor event, SEMICON TAIWAN in Taipei, and since the first edition of the Polish Pavilion in 2023, she has been coordinating the Polish agenda at this strategic annual event.
