Agnieszka Sygitowicz
President of the Management Board, Polish-Taiwanese Chamber of Industry and Commerce
Since 2024, President of the Polish-Taiwanese Chamber of Industry and Commerce. She successfully develops the first Polish business organization dedicated to building economic bridges between Poland and Taiwan. The Chamber continues to grow its membership, attracting participants through activities such as trade missions and engagement in key economic sectors, including semiconductors, IT, food, medical, and pharma. The Chamber’s President also fosters essential relationships with business organizations and associations in both Poland and Taiwan, creating a strong ecosystem of mutual connections that support company growth.
From 2016 to 2024, Agnieszka Sygitowicz served as the Vice President of the Łódź Special Economic Zone (SEZ), which consistently ranked among the top 10 Special Economic Zones in the world throughout that period. By implementing an innovative strategy, the Zone transformed into more than just an area offering investment incentives; it became an innovation hub, running several startup accelerators and connecting corporations and tech companies to develop cutting-edge solutions. This ecosystem includes a network of over 4,000 businesses operating across Poland.
She began her professional career at the Ministry of Transport and the Radomsko City Office (2006-2015), where she was responsible for strategic development and major investment projects.
A passionate enthusiast of modern technologies, innovation, and theater, she is an expert in managing acceleration processes and building startup ecosystems. She has been recognized as one of the TOP 15 Women in 5G by "Perspektywy." She holds a Master’s degree in Spatial Economy and Political Science, as well as an MBA from Łazarski University.
In her personal life, she is a happy wife, mother, and amateur actress. A local patriot and advocate for community initiatives.
