Zbigniew Torbus is a graduate of the Cracow University of Economics. In 2001 he obtained an MBA degree from the University of Central Lancashire.
He has gained professional experience in many industries. He successfully used his extensive experience in economics in his professional work in managerial positions, including banking, metallurgy, and industrial services.
Since 2015, he has been actively involved in the public health sector. He worked as the Deputy Director for Economic and Financial Affairs at the Multi-Specialized County Public Hospital in Mielec from 2015 to 2016. Later, he held the same position at the Public County Hospital in Proszowice from 2018 to 2020. In February 2020, he was promoted to the position of Director at the Multi-Specialized County Public Hospital in Mielec
From 2021 to 2023, he served as an Advisor to the Health Committee of the Senate of the Republic of Poland.
As of January 2023, he holds the position of Director at the Public County Hospital in Proszowice
Zbigniew Torbus is a proponent of Lean Management in healthcare organizations. He is dedicated to transparency, accountability and sustainability, and advocates for modern management practices in healthcare, as well as an effective system for financing from public funds.
