Tomasz Sadzinski, a career diplomat, was appointed deputy director of the Department of Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, in November 2022. He is currently responsible for supporting economic cooperation with countries in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus, Asia and the Pacific as well as Africa and the Middle East.
Previously, he held the position of head of section, African and Middle Eastern Markets at the department. From July 2019 till July 2022 he was the deputy head of mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha. Prior to that he worked in various capacities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and in Polish diplomatic missions in Belgium (2003-2004) and Kuwait (2005-2009). At the ministry he held positions related to strategic planning, risk management, internal communications as well as economic diplomacy.
He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw majoring in International Relations (2003). He completed the training at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland (2003-2005). He also holds the Postgraduate Diploma in Management, University of Warsaw (2011) and the Postgraduate Diploma in Diplomatic Studies, University of Oxford (2012).
