Rafał Brzoska is a Polish inventor and entrepreneur, the founder and CEO of Integer Capital Group – Europe's leading e-commerce delivery platform. He’s also a business angel and co-founder at bValue VC and InovoVC. Rafał is a member of Corporate Connections Global, which brings together the owners of companies with annual revenues of at least €106 million, including representatives of the Forbes 100.
Rafał is the founder of InPost, the Integer Group’s flagship company, which has revolutionised Poland’s parcel delivery market. In 2006, Rafał decided to compete with Poczta Polska, the state-owned postal monopolist. Poczta Polska was the only operator allowed to deliver letters weighing less than 50 grams. InPost began offering envelopes with small pieces of metal (about the size of a credit card) glued to them to reach the minimum weight. This gambit, combined with competitive prices, allowed the company to build a sizeable customer base.
The company took a quantum leap with the launch of parcel lockers in 2009. InPost has the largest and most convenient automatic parcel pick-up and delivery network in Europe, with a total of 67 logistics centres and more than 66,000 parcel locker sites and PUDO points in nine countries (Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the UK). InPost also provides courier and fulfilment services to e-commerce sellers in Poland. In 2023 alone, the company handled 892 million parcels.
From the very beginning, Rafał’s ambition has been to go far beyond the borders of his home country, creating the biggest Polish business success story on the European stage. In July 2021, InPost acquired French logistics giant Mondial Relay for €513 million, the largest and most significant Polish private investment abroad, allowing the InPost Group to enter the French, Iberian and Benelux markets. The company's listing on EURONEXT-Amsterdam that same year was the largest debut for a European technology company in the continent's history. In July 2023, InPost acquired a 30% stake and voting rights in Menzies Distribution Group Limited for £49.3 million, gaining a partnership with a leading logistics company in the UK and Irish markets.
In addition to his business activities, Rafał is deeply involved in charity work, which he considers one of the fundamental pillars of 21st-century business. Since the first day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, he has been involved in helping Poland’s eastern neighbour. InPost provided hundreds of trucks carrying more than 8,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid on his initiative. Rafał also organised the Convoy of Polish Hearts, a 34-car train to the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, the largest privately funded humanitarian transport initiative.
Rafał’s second priority in his philanthropy is supporting the development of young, talented, hard-working people with limited educational opportunities due to their background and economic and social situation. The Rafał Brzoska Foundation Scholarship Fund provides aid and assistance that allows talented young people to study at the best universities in the world.
