Piotr Kubicki graduated from Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz and completed Executive MBA studies at the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw with an IT Manager specialisation.At the Poznań University of Economics, he completed postgraduate studies in IT project management. He is currently in the process of completing a doctorate in cybersecurity related to the FRMCS (Future Railway Mobile Communication System) at the Warsaw University of Technology.
For more than 25 years, he has been involved with the railway, telecommunications and energy industries, being responsible for the management and implementation of projects in the areas of telecommunications, cybersecurity and IT. He worked as a Commercial Director at TK Telekom sp. z o.o. between 2011 and 2013, as a Development Director at ATEM - Polska Sp. z o.o. from 2013 and 2015, as well as a Business Development Director at Technitel Polska S.A. in the years 2015–2021. For the past two years, he has served as a Board Advisor at NetWorks Sp. z o.o., a company responsible for the construction, development and maintenance of mobile network infrastructure.
An expert on critical infrastructure, he is actively involved in industry cooperation in the preparation for the pilot implementation of the FRMCS system on Polish railways.
He is also a passionate climber with professional experience in high altitude climbing, as well as sea and ocean sailing.
