Prof. Paweł Wojciechowski is an economist with academic, business and government experience. In the years 2006-2020, he held the positions of Minister of Finance, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, President of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the OECD and chief economist of the Social Insurance Institution.
In the years 1999-2005 he was the president of PTE Allianz Polska, and from 1996 to 1999 the president of two other financial market companies, as well as the director of a branch of the Polish Development Bank.
At various stages of his career, he lectured at American and Polish universities, including: at Harvard Kennedy School, John Carroll University and Leon Koźmiński Academy, recently also as a professor at Wszechnica Polish Academy of Applied Sciences in Warsaw.
Currently, in addition to being the Chairman of the Program Council of the Institute of Public Finance, he serves on the management boards of several companies, including: Poczta Polska, Rockbridge TFI and Whiteshield.
