Małgorzata Kozak - Director of the Department of Markets Development and Consumer Issues at the Energy Regulatory Office, responsible, inter alia, for implementation of network codes on the electricity and gas market, development of retail markets, implementation of public aid programs such as termination of long term power purchase agreements and the capacity market. She actively participates in the works of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) and the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER). In the years 2006–2008, the General Director of the ERO. In the years 2008 - 2014 she was the Vice President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, in charge of the issues related to state aid and market supervision. A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the British Center for English and European Legal Studies under auspices of the Cambridge University. She also completed postgraduate studies in the economics of the energy sector (Warsaw School of Economics) and European integration (National School of Public Administration and Ecole Nationale d'Administration). Lecturer at postgraduate studies in Consumer Protection Law at the Polish Academy of Sciences and MBA Energetics at the Lazarski University.
