Professor Kiba-Janiak is employed at the Wrocław University of Economics, Department of Strategic Management and Logistics. She has been the Director of the Excecutive MBA programme since 2020. Her research interests are in logistics and supply chain management, particularly urban logistics. She has participated in several research projects funded by the National Science Centre and the European Union. In 2019, Prof Kiba-Janiak completed a three-month research fellowship at the University of Melbourne (NAWA financed the project under the Bekker Programme). In 2023, she gave a speech at the United Nations headquarters as an expert on a panel on sustainable transport as part of a conference organised to mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. She currently leads two research projects in international scientific consortia and actively collaborates with academics from around the world.
