Łukasz Tomaszewski has been involved in renewable energy for more than 14 years. Among other things, he took part in the preparation of the Law on Renewable Energy Sources and its amendments. He has many years of experience in international cooperation, especially in economic and energy areas. From 2010 to 2015, he worked at the Ministry of Economy in the Renewable Energy Department. Then he moved to the Energy Regulatory Office, where he headed the Renewable Energy Auction Department. In 2021, he became associated with the Polish Development Fund where he supported decision-making processes and participated in the development of a bridge financing offer for Renewable Energy Projects. In 2022, he rejoined the government administration and became deputy director of the Renewable Energy Sources Department at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, where he supervised, among other things, matters relating to regulations and support mechanisms as well as international cooperation. In May 2023, he was appointed director of this department.
