Dr hab (post doc), Associate Professor at Kozminski University, expert in risk management and insurance, including space insurance.
Author of at least several dozen publications in the field. Her main book is "Space Insurance. International Legal Aspects" (Kluwer Law International, 2017). Recent publications include: ‘Regulating Space Data Management’ (co-authorship with Marco Ferrazzani and Hristina Talkova) Springer 2024, ‘Challenges of entering the space market. Case of entrepreneurs in Central Eastern Europe’ (co-authorship with M. Szwajewski et at, New Space 2024). Currently participating in the research project “The development of the European and national defence industry and defence innovation in the European Union's common defence policy: legal framework from a central European perspective” led by Central European Academy in Budapest, dealing with the regulatory aspects of space defence.
Her current research focuses on risk prevention and management in the context of sustainability of space operations as well as defence and military aspects of outer space exploration. Frequent speaker at national and international conferences. Director of the Centre for Space Studies at Kozminski University and head of the post-graduate programme "Entrepreneurship in the Space Industry". Serves as an expert for POLSA on space liability and insurance regulations. Member of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee of the International Astronautical Federation, the International Institute of Space Law and the European Centre for Space Economy and Commerce (ECSECO). Expert to the Polish Space Agency on the implementation of national space law.
