General director, Doctors Without Borders in Poland

General director of Doctors Without Borders in Poland. She previously headed the Polish branch of Amnesty International for many years. Civil activist and human rights defender. Dedicated to the idea of solidarity, regardless of whether the unfolding crises or human rights violations are happening near or far from us. 

Forbes Women magazine named her one of its Women of the Year in 2020. She was awarded the Golden Cross of Merit by the President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski and an Honorary Badge for Merit for the Protection of Human Rights by the Polish Ombudsman Adam Bodnar.
