Andrzej Ilków is an experienced manager in the aviation industry. Since March 2024, he has been the CEO of Polish Airports S.A,. He was the director of the airport in Bydgoszcz, and in 2008 he worked at the Warsaw Chopin Airport, where he initiated and introduced the process of coordinating flight schedules, which is still used today. He supervised the expansion process of Chopin Airport in 2011-14, preceded by a long preparatory period, in cooperation with industry companies, CAA, EUROCONTROL, IATA and EASA. He participated in the works of the Technical Operation Safety Committee and ACI.
He sat on the supervisory boards of: Kraków-Balice, Szczecin-Goleniów, Warszawa-Modlin sp. z o.o. and Poznań-Ławica airports, ACS sp. z o.o. and GDN Airport Services S.A. Academic lecturer and SCAAI expert.
He is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and postgraduate studies at the WSOSP in Dęblin. He served in the Air Force and Air Defense. He participated in the UN peacekeeping mission in Syria, Israel and the NATO mission in Kosovo.
