Aleksander Szlachetko is the Managing Director of ESL Gaming Poland, a division of ESL FACEIT Group. He joined ESL in October 2016, initially serving as Director of Development. In March 2017, he was promoted to his current position as Managing Director. Prior to this, he spent 15 years at Intel as Desktop Sales Manager for EMEA, where he was responsible for the strategy and sales of high-performance PCs for the gaming and enthusiast markets. He is also the one who believed in IEM Katowice from the very beginning and worked with ESL and the City of Katowice to create the best esports event for gaming fans.
