Adrian Sienicki graduated from the power engineering, electronics, and telecommunication faculties at the Lodz University of Technology. He has been in the industrial and services sectors since 2006, mainly in fuel-energy industry and primary – metals. He is a Vice President for the Corporate Affairs of Weglokoks S.A. and a research and teaching fellow in the Department of Electrical Apparatus at the Lodz University of Technology. He was a head of development, member of the board, at Veolia Energia Łódź S.A. - a heat producer and district heating network operator in Łódź and the head of the commercial department in Łódź Region in Veolia Energy Contracting Poland. He was a chairman of “Fala Energii” – an energy cluster in Lodz.
His professional activity covers energy-efficient solutions: heat from the district heating network produced in highly efficient combined heat and power plants, green heat, and distributed generation. His field of scientific activity covers electrical apparatus, electrical contacts, control algorithms, distributed power generation systems (photovoltaics, windfarms, cogeneration, trigeneration), heat distribution, power transmission, power exchange, energy efficiency, and intelligent buildings.
