Graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Faculty of Mining, majoring in Mining and Geology in the field of Underground Construction. Currently writing a Ph.D. dissertation on the conduct of mining operations in harsh geological conditions. His professional career began at the Piast Coal Mine where he climbed through all levels of advancement – from an underground trainee to the head of the mining department. Then he served as Chief Engineer at the Ziemowit Section of the Piast – Ziemowit Coal Mine. On 1 January 2021, he assumed the post of Director of the Mysłowice – Wesoła Coal Mine.
