Rafal leads the Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team in Poland. CCaSS specializes in supporting clients in: developing sustainability strategies, preparation of ESG reporting, external attestation of GRI reporting.

Rafał has a extensive experience in leading audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS, Polish Accounting Standards and US GAAP. Since 2015, Rafal  is the US Desk Leader in Assurance Poland responsible for servicing Polish subsidiaries of American corporations and monitoring of the level of service provided to this category of clients. In 2013 – 2015, in the region of San Francisco (EY Redwood City, CA), Rafal conducted integrated audits (including IPO) for EY clients from biotechnology sector listed on NASDAQ and based in California. Rafal was a co-author of Carbon Disclosure Project publications for Central and Eastern Europe for 2015 i 2016. Since then, Rafal regularly publishes or comments publicly on sustainability trends, ESG reporting, ESG attestation matters, EU Taxonomy and CSRD.
