Michał Piekarski, partner, is head of the Energy and Infrastructure Practice Group in Warsaw. Michał has extensive experience in the energy sector, which he gained as a lawyer whilst working in international law firms and as a legal advisor in the largest private energy group in Poland. He focuses on providing comprehensive legal advice to major companies operating in the Polish energy sector, in particular on regulatory issues and transactions. For over 12 years he has advised on the largest offshore wind projects and transactions in Poland, and supports energy utilities and oil & gas companies in their energy transitioning activities. He actively advises clients on hydrogen projects and those related to the development of nuclear power plants in Poland. Michał Piekarski comes recommended in the Legal 500 and Chambers Europe rankings, in the Energy and Natural Resources category, with a particular emphasis on renewables and offshore wind energy.
